Halloween Tailgating in Lacey Township
Trunk-or-treating has exploded in the past couple of years, with scores of communities across the area posting invitations on the Internet or in local newspapers.
On Saturday, October 25th, the Lacey Chamber of Commerce hosted a Trunk or Treat event for the residents of Lacey Township and its neighbors within Ocean County. The event was held at Gille Park from 1pm-4pm and offered a fun and safe experience for families. Over 25 trunks were decorated by local organizations and the business community.
Our company, Tortuga Creative Services, offered plenty of Halloween candy for children at the trunk or treat, but also a photo-op for them with our “trunk zombie” as an extra treat. Popular costumes that day ranged from recent popular films such as Frozen, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Captain America and the Avengers to the classics such as the Wizard of Oz. The turnout of families from the community was amazing and we hope to see everyone again at the event next year!
